I’d like to thank Glenn and Lea Metli-Hunter owners of Maricopa’s Hangin’ Saddle Ranch for their help yesterday when one of my horses began early symptoms of colic. With no local vet and being early on a holiday morning, I started seeking out local ranchers. Fortunately I didn’t have to look far as Glenn invited me right over and provided me with a tube of Banamine. Success! Poop in the arena! Today she is fine and I am thankful for the generous spirits of Cowboys and Cowgirls.

This has been the best place in the world for me. Glenn has been there for me every step of the way. I have 2 horses with him, one has been hard to start. So soft in the bit, left, right, down but has soon as you ask her to back up, UP in the air she goes. Glenn has worked with her for many weeks. He found her sweet spot. Today for the first time, she backed up every time Glenn asked. No pain, just trust. What a great trainer. The old school way with love and understanding. He will train a horse. He will not break a horse. His understanding of what a horse needs is unbelievable. Fools try to put him down because of their envy. They really need to follow and learn! Thank you my dear friend.

Love them!! I can't say it enough. My girls have been going for lessons for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier! Mr and Mrs hunter are amazing :) You can see how much they love their horses and how much they enjoy teaching. I can't help but smile the whole time we are there. Glenn takes his job very seriously. It's all about safety first, "tuff" love n fun learning second :) Leah is a beautiful spirit. She keeps the ranch running smooth. Her wisdom and kindness are a gift and I love talking with her while my girls ride.

There are not enough stars!! This has become my home away from home. My solitude! Glen and Lea have stolen my heart and the heart of my daughter. Great people (everyone that I met). Great accommodations. I’m from Colorado and needed a place for my horse, Dakota, for thirty days. Many trails to ride on very close in. I love going out to the ranch to watch Glenn train the horses, I think it's great therapy and I'm learning a lot. Actually got to go on my first trail ride yesterday and boy was that fun. I'm a little saddle sore but not too bad. Thanks Glenn and Lea, you guys are awesome.
